From working together on stage to werking together on The Netwerk.
Growing up, Sam and Cameron were on the same competition dance team in Southern California for over four years. They bring their expertise and personal experience from their dance backgrounds to enhance your time at The Netwerk and create new opportunities in the dance industry.
Growing up as a dancer, Schwartz realized the difficulty dancers go through to book work and make their passion a career and reluctantly decided against this path for herself. After majoring in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast and Television from Columbia College Chicago, she moved back to Los Angeles to start her professional journey.
Schwartz started her post-college career working as an Executive Assistant in the entertainment industry. She didn't hate the idea of going into an office everyday but she needed to find a creative outlet away from her desk. After picking up dance classes to teach on the side, while maintaining her position in the office, career ideas started to spark. This is where The Netwerk began.
Despite her rocky start as a dancer, Paulson overcame her four year old nerves of stage fright and began competitively dancing at the age of eight. Her career on stage ended after high school but she went on to graduate college in three short years with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Like Schwartz, Paulson began her post-college life working a desk job and soon realized that she needed more out of a career to be truly happy. After volunteering to help Schwartz with the initial Netwerk Convention, Paulson found her passion for the dance industry had been sparked yet again.
